RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.lanternfm.co.uk) apply to ‘[Wickes Wheel Barrow Challenge]’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from [Saturday 10th January 2009.  The "Radio Station" is [Lantern FM].

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1) Details of the Competition

1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must
a) Go to the location described on-air by the presenter.  Entry will open at 10.30am on and close at 12.30pm on the day of the Competition.
1.2 Entrants will invited to attend the store ( Wickes at Barnstaple ) where they will be asked to guess the total costs of the products in the wheel barrow . Entries will be written down by the Thunder crew and the closest entry will be the one that wins. In the event of a tie another product will be used to guess the value of by the people involved in the tie. Winner will be telephoned at approx. 12.45pm and asked to collect prize from store. 
1.3 Winner is determined by being the closet guess

RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with GCap Media plc's ("GCap Media") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at [insert station website link]) apply to ‘[The Quiz of the Week]’ on [Lantern FM] radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from [May 2008]. The "Participating Radio Station" is [Lantern FM].

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

1 Details of the Competition
1.1 For the Duration of the Competition, listeners to the Participating Radio Station will be invited to enter the Competition by [Listeners will be asked to phone either phone the studio or text in to enter for this weekly quiz
1.2 To enter the Competition an Entrant must phone the studio on 01271 342342 or text into the studio on 82122 starting the word with Lantern and will be given the chance to answer the question set by the presenter. The quiz is played between 7.00am and 9.00am on each weekday and the presenter will inform the listeners the exact point of entry each day of the quiz as it will vary from telephone to text, each day.
1.3 From either entry point the winner will be chosen from the listeners that give the correct answers at random.
1.4 All matters relating to the selection [at random] of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the sole discretion of GCap Media and the Participating Radio Station.
1.5  All calls to the Telephone Line and text line will be charged at [national rates if Classic FM, local rates if other stations].  Calls from mobiles and some fixed lines may vary.  Please consult your service provider if in doubt.

2 Eligibility
2.1 There is no age restriction for the Quiz of the week unless stated by the presenter
2.2 Any person using a telephone which is not his or her own should ask for the permission of the owner of the telephone before calling the Telephone Line, or texting on a mobile phone.
2.3 Any employees of and or contractors engaged by GCap Media, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the Competition.
2.4 The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
2.5 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if GCap Media discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, GCap Media reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified and no prize will be awarded.
2.6 GCap Media and the Participating Radio Station shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose text message or telephone call is not received by GCap Media or the Participating Radio Station whether due to any technical faults or otherwise. 
2.7 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself.  In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.

3 Prize
3.1 All decisions of the GCap Media and Participating Radio Station’s representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any decision made.
3.2 The prizes will vary from week to week and will be described by the presenters during the show.
